Visiting a new church can be a frightening prospect.
You don’t know what to expect when you show up, right?
We really want your experience here at PCYC to be awesome and we work hard to make that happen. Please come and put away all fear, we love you and accept you. Enjoy a meal on us at our cafe’ as a welcome gift. In the following, we hope to address any questions you might have. Please be blessed.
What can you expect at PCYC?
First, expect a friendly, and spirit filled environment.
—Guests usually say, “Visitors are always amazed at this hidden Gem in the heart of Yuba City”
Second, expect some help along the way.
—Users and Greeters will welcome with a smile and answer any questions.
Third, expect a Full Gospel Church with emphasis on fellowship.
—No watered down gospel here.
Fourth, expect meaningful worship.
—We have a first-rate contemporary worship team. Alway’s expect to hear the latest music for worship as we ask Jesus for engaged worship.
Fifth, expect a practical Bible message.
— Our pastor teaches The Word of God to make it applicable for today. To add to this we have many anointed teachers and preachers on staff.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably but not revealing. The important thing to us is that you are able to be yourself.
Do you have anything for my kids?
Yes! There is a check-in process as you walk into the church just ask one of the ushers and they will be glad to direct you to the appropriate area– the Shining Light Nursery/Pre-K area or 1st-5th-grade classroom where your children will hear a lesson from the Bible that is enjoyable and age appropriate.
Where do I go when I get there?
Our church has its own cafe’. Please sit and enjoy some refreshments and fellowship until worship begins. PCYC is totally not your typical church we believe in fellowship.
Are there any services during the week?
We have an interesting midweek schedule. We have a general adult Bible Study that meets in our sanctuary, an exciting Youth Group that meets, as well as our Shining Light Kids Ministries that meet on Wednesdays. Many Fridays there is also something happening. Please refer to our calendar and events schedule.
